Happy Holiday Season Lovelies!
Things are very busy here at Ciara Geoff and Charlotte Central, thus the long time between blog entries. As s few of these photos and the videos I am posting next indicate, there is a not so little someone who is way more impressed with building forts with her mom and dad then letting them sit at the not so exciting computer updating people. The most exciting thing about the computer? Banging on it, seeing what happens when she pulls it off the table. Yes, not so much exciting for us.
But alas, the year, Char's first entire year on earth is coming to a close. It has been an amazing journey of proportions that no one's advice or insight could have prepared us for. We are a great team though, so the ebb and flow have been at very least an adventure together that we will always cherish.
So, Miss Charlotte is 14 months old(yesterday), walking and exploring high and low. Her communication is exploding as she uses both American Sign Language, her own mime skills and words to describe, demand and point out the details of the world around her. Her now famous fave word "arf" is catching on in families who are friends with us..."arf and woof" have universal meaning and appeal it seems. Latest words are yellow, yes, yea!, This is joined by old standards such as wow, woah, mommy, daddy, mmmm(food).. and others. She is a curious being who is not content to sit calmly ala mom and dad as babies. Instead, if there is any sense of quiet, we usually find her scaling a bookcase, preparing to hurl a glass bowl or wrestling with her huge bear or dog. She always wins even if there are some bumps and bruises after the fact!
Alright, will have to return as there is a pressing need for more dried pears to be delivered to Miss Char. Her new favorite food? Spicy Indian masala potato patties filled with hot peppers. "Really Char?" "Yes mom, really"

Happy Friday!
Hello lovelies,
Here are some moments in the life of our leading lady. She in enjoying life, movement and anything she can touch or crawl to, She loves to practice standing up using anyone or anythingto help her. This is particularly funny while bathing or nursing- but don't tell HER that. She loves all the cute clothes that people give her- mostly dresses and stuff for outings, but these days she mostly wears footie pajamas for her endless naps and 11-12 hour nights or little bum covers so she can really move around without pants and dresses in her way.. This girl LOVES to move. She also loves all her new foods..since she started two months ago asparagus, avocado, mango, peaches, carrots, zucchini, sweet potato, pears, brown rice, oatmeal, prunes, peas and bananas have made their debut. Oddly she loves food as much as we do. Well, its friday, which is like a holiday for this family that loves to play together. So off the computer and into the livingroom. Love, and more soon.

happy easter!
Just taking a minute to say hello on this beautiful Easter Sunday. Here is Miss Charlotte and her dad, Miss Charlotte and her mum, Miss Charlotte visiting daddy at work on Good Friday, the eggs we dyed with a little help from Miss Charlotte for her 1st Easter. Next you can see film footage of her experimenting with sitting in her newly assembled high chair- it is pretty cute! She hasn't started solids yet but it could be any day now and we figured sitting in a chair AND eating probably takes some getting used to. Better that she flail and kick and dance while NOT eating a smashed avocado for the first time, maybe?? She turns 6 months old this week, half a whole year old and we honestly cannot believe it.
Ok, off to get ready to eat some ham, asparagus risotto and spring salad. Because Easter without ham is like Easter without Charlotte-impossible to imagine!! :)
